D-MADE will focus on one major theme: ENTREPRENEURSHIP. Diaspora members will demonstrate their ability to impact on the social welfare of local communities through profitable businesses, be it through job creation, investment in local infrastructures, technical assistance etc.


Proposals can focus on all sectors, from the agro-industry, Information and Communications Technologies, manufacturing, to social sectors such as education, water, sanitation, health, etc. as long as they are sustainable and profitable, or demonstrate near or medium term profitability.
