The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for educational and cultural relations. In the UK the British Council is registered as a charity (not-for-profit-organisation) and operates independently from the UK government, from which it receives a grant-in-aid. The Council is represented in 110 countries and 218 towns and cities worldwide.

In Albania, the British Council meet aspirations of young learners by creating opportunities in education, English language learning and cultural exchange. It works with partners, both in Albania and in the UK, to showcase British excellence, innovation and creativity. The Council works for the benefit of the individual and for the mutual benefit of Britain and Albania.
