Is Inclusive Growth Possible in Egypt?
The Development Marketplace and Skoll are partnering to host a dialogue on Egypt's future. Egypt’s revolution is far from over, and the future of the country still hangs in the balance. The way forward is uncertain, but in a recent policy paper published by the Brookings Institute, experts argue for legal and regulatory reforms to allow for a new inclusive and equitable economic growth model. Building off this discussion, the Skoll World Forum partnered with the World Bank Institute’s Development Marketplace program and asked some of the region’s leading authorities how Egypt can best design a set of policies and practices that enable social progress for all of its citizens. The discussion was organized around the following question:
"How can Egypt build and accelerate an inclusive development model for all of its citizens moving forward?"
