Saluderecho.net will webcast a public hearing session on Thursday May 10th, 2012 by the Colombian court on Ruling T 760 issued in 2008.

This judgment orders the Ministry of Health as well as other health authorities in the country to improve access to health care services, to streamline the flow of resources and ensure quality conditions.

In order to monitor the compliance with these orders, the Colombian court has been convening public hearings involving a series of different stakeholders.

The World Bank Institute (WBI) in cooperation with the Vietnamese Ministry of Health will deliver a 10-day flagship course  for Vietnam’s Health System and Health Financing Reforms. This is the first time WBI's flagship course will be presented in Vietnam. Delivered from April 16-26 in two phases, the course includes a two-day executive policy seminar, targeted at high level policy makers and decision makers and an eight-day course, targeted at mid-level staff and department heads.

The World Bank has published a new book, Pharmaceutical Reform: A Guide to Improving Performance and Equity (PDF 3.33 MB). This practical guide responds to an important need within the general area of health sector reform and strengthening of health systems.
