Pranab Bardhan

Pranab bardhan is a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining Berkeley he has been on the faculty of MIT, Indian Statistical Institute and Delhi School of Economics. He was educated at Presidency College, Calcutta and Cambridge University of Cambridge, UK. He was the Editor of the Journal of Development Economics for 18 years.
He is the author of 12 books and of more than 120 journal articles and editor of 12 other books.
His latest book, Awakening Giants, Feet of Clay: Assessing the Economic Rise of China and India is published by Princeton University Press.
