Jean-François Rischard

Jean-François Rischard was the World Bank Vice President for Europe from 1998 to 2005, acting as the Bank’s chief spokesman both to the European Union and to individual European countries. Before taking the post, Mr. Rischard was responsible for the World Bank's activities involving private and financial sector development in developing countries. Mr. Rischard has doctoral degrees in law and economics. He also earned an MBA degree at the Harvard School of Business.
