Rob Floyd

Rob Floyd is the Operations Manager of the World Bank Institute. He joined WBI in February 2010 and is responsible for WBI's regional coordination efforts, partnerships and fund-raising, and scholarships programs.
Mr. Floyd joined the World Bank Group in 1995 and worked on public sector reform and governance, and capacity building in Africa. Countries of focus included Kenya, Zambia, Lesotho, South Africa, and Namibia. He was also the manager of the African Capacity Building Trust Fund from 2000-2003.
Mr. Floyd served as Chief of Staff to two World Bank Presidents, Jim Wolfenshon and Paul Wolfowitz, before becoming the Country Coordinator for Pakistan and Bangladesh.
He has a background in economics and has worked in Africa, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He has served as an advisor to governments and consulted for Fortune 500 companies.
