Follow up to an earlier pilot event on the subject, targeting professionals and managers of development projects, this upcoming event will target trainers from the region’s public universities, with whom African Institute of Capacity Development (AICAD) is associated in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya, in order to enhance the audience’s knowledge and skills on climate change, its impacts and adaptation options in the context of sustainable land-water management and development, as well as scale up learning impact and transfer knowledge.

The course will focus on building skills both in technical areas in dealing with implementation issues with exercises and role-plays, as well as pedagogy design for courses dealing with climate adaptation. It will feature case studies, interactive exercises and innovative learning, combining face-2-face learning with the use of the e-learning material developed by WBI.
