New Global Course on Innovation Policy: Introduction to Innovation Policy (Washington, DC, June 14 - 18, 2010)

The Skills & Innovation Policy program of the World Bank Institute’s Growth and Crisis unit and the Korea Development Institute are launching the joint global course: Introduction to Innovation Policy.

This week-long course offers a unique learning experience on the political economy of reform of innovation systems and selected instruments. Course participants will benefit from tailored break-out sessions and round-tables, as well as from insights presented by renowned international experts on innovation, World Bank staff and senior practitioners who have successfully participated in the design and implementation of innovation policies in their countries.

The course is primarily designed for high-level policymakers from ministries and departments concerned with various aspects of innovation policy, but it also targets R&D experts as well as private sector champions and development practitioners from international donor agencies.
