Approaches to Urban Slums Sourcebook

There are three versions of the toolkit: English, Spanish and Arabic

The sourcebook compiles the rich and growing body of knowledge on the vital issue of improving the lives of existing slum dwellers. It also helps in planning for new urban growth in a way that ensures that future urban residents are not forced to live in slums.

The information is accumulated from a wide range of sources over 35 years and includes 14 self-running audio-visual slide presentations and 18 video interviews by urban stakeholders and experts from development organizations, governments, nongovernmental organizations, community organizations, academia, and professional urban consulting groups
