World Economic Forum Report Features WBI

The World Economic Forum’s new report, Responsible Mineral Development Initiative features the World Bank Institute’s contract monitoring initiative. The section on "Thorough Compliance, Monitoring and Enforcement of Commitments describes WBI’s and the World Bank Africa region’s work to increase collaboration between the various stakeholders to oversee the award and execution of contracts.

The initiative is active in Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia and will soon be in Francopohone Africa.
