Knowledge exchange, or peer-to-peer learning, is a powerful way to share, replicate, and scale-up what works in development. Development practitioners increasingly seek to learn from the experiences of others who have gone through, or are going through similar challenges. They want to have ready access to practical knowledge and solutions and enhance their confidence, conviction, and skills to customize the solutions to their own context.

The World Bank Institute is pleased to launch a free online course on the Art of Knowledge Exchange. This new course focuses on the tools necessary to design and implement an effective knowledge exchange. It uses a step-by-step results-focused approach that helps practitioners engaged in South-South knowledge exchange activities identify the appropriate instruments and activities to achieve their objectives. After taking this course, participants will be able to apply the model in order to build their own initiatives using the Knowledge Exchange Roadmap.
